Hortulus Farm Gardens is a hundred acre, 18th Century farmstead and nursery operation, situated amidst the beautiful, rolling hills of historic Bucks County, PA. Created and owned by world-famous garden and event designer Renny Reynolds and noted garden writer and author Jack Staub, Hortulus Farm Gardens has been called both “a garden of world-class charm” and “one of Pennsylvania’s hidden treasures”. In 2000, the Hortulus Farm Foundation was created to insure that this celebrated property will continue to exist as a public garden and horticultural study center in perpetuity. Silver Lake Park

This 235-acre complex is unique to Pennsylvania in that it harbors the best-protected Coastal Plain Forest left in the state. It is part of the 460-acre park and Silver Lake which is the terminus of the Mill Creek, Queen Anne Creek, and the Black Ditch Creek Watershed.
The main building houses a multipurpose auditorium, exhibit room depicting that which is unique to the park, offices, the Barnswallow Gift Shop, and a reference library. Immediately outside the building is a large meadow. Nearby, a 60-person amphitheater is designed for campfires and shows.

Trenton Fire Museum

This museum was created in 1959 and within ten years had established one of the largest collections on the eastern seaboard.
The Museum houses one of the largest collections of fire helmets on the east coast and now proudly displays a Philadelphia-style, double-decker hand pumper originally purchased in 1850 for the Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company of Trenton.
The Museum, which is attached to a working fire station, is readily available for viewing.

Washington Crossing Historic Park

Washington Crossing Historic Park was founded in 1917 to perpetuate and preserve the site from which the Continental Army crossed the Delaware River. This purpose is achieved by interpreting the historical significance of this site for thousands of Park visitors each year through tours, exhibits and various special events. The spirit of the 1776 Crossing is recreated every year on Christmas Day when the annual reenactment of Washington Crossing the Delaware takes place on December 25. In this annual reenactment the visitor can see reenactors in Continental military dress cross the river in the replica Durham boats.
