Wildflower the Pitbull Graduates as Police K9 Sunday at FOP Lodge 5 in Philadelphia
Local Non-Profit Organization donating a FULLY TRAINED Narcotic Detection Pitbull to Chief of Police from Oklahoma

Female Founder (Carol Skaziak) of a Non-Profit 501 (C) 3 Organization Throw Away Dogs Project was determined to prove that she can make WILDFLOWER the Pitbull into an amazing Narcotic Detection Police Dog. Wildflower has been in The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach in South Carolina shelter for over a year and needed a second chance. Dedicated people from that shelter knew Wildflower had potential and contacted Throw Away Dogs in hopes they would give her a chance in their program. Throw Away Dogs Project did just that and gave her this chance and Wildflower now has completed narcotic detection training and will be donated to the Chief of Police of Wetumka Oklahoma Police Department on Sunday March 18, 2018 at 12 noon at the FOP Lodge 5 in Philadelphia. Chief Joseph Chitwood of the Wetumka Oklahoma Police Department is traveling to the Non-Profit’s hometown of Huntingdon Valley PA to meet and attend Wildflower’s graduation Ceremony. During this press conference and graduation, you will have the opportunity to meet Wildflower and her new Handler. In addition to the graduation, Wildflower and her handler will be presented with a Trauma Kit from Throw Away Dogs to ensure she has a fighting chance in the event of the unthinkable happens, Capital K9 Association will be presenting Wildflower and her handler with a Heat Alarm System for her K9 car, and K9s of Valor will be presenting Wildflower and her handler with a Narcan overdose reversal Kit. WILDFLOWER will be the FIRST RESCUE DOG to be placed and DONATED in OKLAHOMA!

Throw Away Dogs Project was founded and created in 2014 and has since Rescued, Rehabilitated and successfully DONATED 23 dogs around the country which consist of Explosive Detection Dogs, Narcotic Detection Dogs, Contraband Dogs, Patrol & Apprehensive Dogs, and now Service Dogs.
Throw Away Dogs Founder, Carol Skaziak has been recognized nationally and has appeared on Nat Geo Wild’s Dog Nation with Cesar Millan and has also appeared on NBC Nightly News in New York.
The Throw Away Dogs Team and Wildflower recently appeared on local news Fox 29 which news story is viewed 10.3 MILLION times and still climbing!
